Hello folks!

This topic is 1st i've ever wrote here. Can't speak french, so i use english. I got this "new hobby" about one and half year ago. So far i've built several rods.
I'm 35 year old guy from Finland. I have wife with two kids (boy 6y and daughter 3y). I like to go fishing as much i could. My personal favourite is zander. Then pike, perch and seatrout. I hate this winter time when all waters are frozen.
I mainly use high end (Made in Japan) baitcasters. More than 90% of my fishing is with them. Those are more light than spinning reels and much more fun to fish with.

Based on your testing/feeling, what is the low/high lure weight the blank can handle/cast/animate properly ?

On video i tried 20g spoon as 1st. You could throw it, but it wont load blank. Then 30g spinnerbait next load blank a bit. After that its unbelievable good! It's moderate fast, but its like a spring. Cast like a dream 30-190g. Last "thing" i threw was 202g. Blank handles it, but it isnt fun anymore. Sweet range is 40-180 i think. Best all round pikerod what i've tested so far. Easily.
Couldn't test casting distances, cause place i was casting is surrounded with ice. I have no clue, how far this rod casts. I'll expand next SWB 807 with 6-8". Then it's perfect!

Ps. Was 1st acid wrapped pike rod. Never gonna turn back "regular" guide spacing anymore. Acid is so easy to assemble.
